During my time in Boston, MA from 2004-2006, I worked as an Art Director for the Duracell Batteries. Part of the Gillette company.
In 2006, Duracell launched a new battery, PowerPix, aimed specifically at digital camera users. As Art Director, I worked with Marketing manager to initiate the product launch. I was given an initial concept for the battery pack but then had to create larger scale printed pieces for in-store displays, riders, header cards, a Mylar balloon and the product’s Web page.
This was a really unique project because all the elements that I created were vector-based and completely scalable.
